Wedding cakes for 50+ guests are fully customizable.

Wedding cakes for less than 50 guests can be chosen from the Designer Cake Collection, a carefully curated collection of cake designs which can be personalized to your taste.

When should I book my wedding cake?

If your wedding is 9 months away or less and your main design elements are in place, we can start the design process! Most couples will book 3-6 months from their wedding date and some will book a year out in advance.  The peak seasons are Summer and Fall, so if your wedding is during those months, you’ll want to contact/inquire in advance.

The Ordering Process

For wedding cakes for less than 50 guests, please see the next section. 

1. The first step is to contact me by filling out your wedding details in the form below. From there, I can provide a rough price based on the details you provided (the more details, the better!).
2. After, we would have the wedding cake tasting (social distance style). See “Do you do cake tastings?” below for details.
3. Once you decide you’d like to work with Silver Whisk Bake Shop, a non-refundable 50% retainer and a signed contract is required to secure your wedding date and order.
4. When both retainer and contract are received, we start the design process of creating your dream wedding cake! I’ll draw inspiration from your wedding details and your personal style to create something that’s made just for you. Once we finalize your wedding cake design, your work is all done. Just relax and I’ll do the rest!
5. The final payment will be due one month before your wedding date. I’ll handle all the logistics and coordination details of your wedding cake for your wedding day. Easy and stress free.

1. Check out our carefully curated Designer Cake Collection full of thoughtful cake designs which you can personalize to your own taste.
2. Add any additional details/notes you'd like us to be aware of in the note section of your order or send us an email at hello@silverwhiskbakeshop.com. 
3. You're all set! Leave the rest to us. We’ll handle all the logistics and coordinate details of your wedding cake for your wedding day. Easy and stress free.

Do you do cake tastings?

Yes! We offer tastings for cakes for 50+ guests only. At this time, we’re conducting tastings social-distance-style by shipping the cake tasting directly to you. We ship nationwide (lower 48 US states). The cake tasting box fee is $48 which includes four jars of pre-assorted cake flavors you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home (eating cake in your PJs is okay and should be celebrated). Flavors included are:

• fresh strawberry (classic vanilla cake + fresh strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream)
• lemon raspberry (fresh lemon cake + refreshing lemon-raspberry Swiss meringue buttercream)
• dark chocolate + salted caramel (double chocolate cake + vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream + homemade caramel + Maldon sea salt flakes)
• double chocolate mocha (double chocolate cake + mocha Swiss meringue buttercream)
