Classic Vanilla

Our vanilla cake is a butter-based recipe, where we cream butter and sugar together until it’s super light and fluffy. Full of rich flavor with a delicate crumb texture, we can’t get enough of this cake!

Our Swiss meringue buttercream is meringue-based incorporated with creamy butter, resulting in a light and airy buttercream that is just sweet enough. Our vanilla is sourced from a company in France with over 70 years experience in the industry. The vanilla used is a bouquet of vanilla varieties, when combined, results in a wonderfully complex and unique fragrance and flavor. This is every vanilla-lover dream come true!

Fresh Strawberry

Our fresh strawberry buttercream makes this cake sing! A classic combination of vanilla and strawberry.

    Our lemon cake is a butter-based recipe with a splash of lemon added to the batter for a refreshing, bright, and fragrant cake. Paired with a refreshing lemon buttercream tangy raspberries, this is the equivalent of a bright sunny day.

      Key Lime Coconut

      Key Lime Coconut is for all lovers of tropical flavors! Our rich, buttery, and tender vanilla cake is paired with a bright and zesty key lime buttercream. For a fun texture and a tropical touch, we slowly toast shredded coconut until it’s slightly golden, which enhances the coconut’s flavor. All that’s missing is a Piña Colada!

        Double Chocolate Mocha

        Our double chocolate cake is intensely chocolate forward  and we are not sorry! Our top secret recipe includes quality cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate, and a subtle hint of espresso. Our super light and airy Swiss meringue buttercream is blended with espresso and a hint of cocoa powder for a deep mocha flavor. Hint: this cake is perfect with a hot cup of coffee.

          Dark Chocolate & Salted Caramel

          Paired with a light and dreamy vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, a homemade caramel sauce that’s rich and buttery, and sprinkled with flakes of Maldon sea salt, this cake is decadent, salty-sweet heaven!

            Chocolate Matcha & Black Sesame

            Our double chocolate cake is intensely chocolate forward and we are not sorry! Our top secret recipe includes quality cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate, and a subtle hint of espresso.

            Our matcha buttercream is made with Grade A matcha green tea powder from Shizuoka Japan blended into our Swiss meringue buttercream for a complex and earthy flavor with a touch of sweetness. Toasted black sesame is sprinkled in-between each cake layer for a slightly nutty taste and pops of fun texture. This cake flavor was inspired by the creativity of one of our wedding couples!

              Pickup Instructions

              Pickup is available for one and two-tier cakes. Three-tier cakes require delivery.

              Pickup instructions will be sent to customers via email with exact details of address and transportation instructions. When you arrive (or a trusty friend or family member that’s picking up for you arrives), give us a call at (857) 264-0135 and we’ll come out to help put the cake in the car.

              Cakes travel best on flat surfaces in air conditioned or room temperature vehicles (ex: trunk of your car, the floor of the car in the back, or the passenger seat pushed back and put on the ground of the passenger seat). This is especially important during warmer months.

              When holding the cake box, hold it from the bottom sides (don’t squeeze the sides!).

              Outside Events

              Any cake placed outside during an event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to heat and humidity. If you have an outside wedding or celebration, I am happy to discuss with you recommendations on where is best to display your cake.

              Buttercream reacts the same way as butter does; it melts under heat, it is the perfect texture at room temperature, and gets firm when cold. Therefore, it is necessary to keep your cake away from heat and humidity to avoid disappointment. I am not liable for a cake once it has been delivered or picked up.

              Deliveries

              Surprise deliveries are sometimes made to recipients (we love this!). When making a surprise delivery order, please include the recipient’s full name and phone number so we can call them in case we have trouble reaching them. If someone will be with the recipient and you prefer to share their contact information, that’s great too!

              If we’re unable to reach the recipient, we will wait for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the cake will be placed outside their doorstep/building. Silver Whisk Bake Shop is not responsible for the cake after it has been delivered. Please keep this in mind especially for warmer months to prevent the cake from melting if left outside for too long.

              Enjoy Your Cake!

              Your cake will be fully chilled when you receive it. To enjoy the cake at its best, let the cake come to room temperature by letting the cake sit in the box somewhere at room temperature for at least 2-3 hours. If you’re picking up right before an event, taking the cake out of the box after pick up is fine too! 

              To take the cake out of the box, we advise customers to open the top of the cake, then undo the side flaps on the front of the box so you can slide the cake right out.

              Storing Leftovers

              You have great self-control!

              To store leftovers for 2-3 days, put the leftovers in the cake box and wrap with saran wrap or store leftovers in an airtight container. Place leftovers in your refrigerator. When you're ready to eat a slice (or two), cut the amount you want and leave it out at room temperature to let the buttercream soften up. For individual slices, it usually takes about 20 minutes.

              To store leftovers for up to one month, place leftovers in an airtight container and freeze! Our cakes freeze beautifully. To enjoy, slice the amount of cake you’d like and let it come to room temperature (~30 minutes). Do not microwave it, just trust us on this one ;)

              Storing Cupcakes

              Cupcakes can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days (nothing beats cupcakes on the first day though!). For cupcakes, take the amount you want out of the container from the refrigerator and leave it out at room temperature to let the buttercream soften up a bit (about 20 minutes).

              Cancellation & Refunds

              Cancellations made with 28 or more days notice are fully refundable.

              Cancellations made within 14 days notice are 50% refundable.

              Cancellations for orders due in less than 14 days will be fully charged which are non-refundable.

              We take on a limited amount of cakes per week and turn down other potential orders when your order is booked. It keeps the focus on the high quality of your cake!

              Cake Changes

              Changes to your order may be made if your event is more than 7 days away. Please note that changes may change your price.

              We’ll review your requested changes and let you know in advance if there is a price change. This applies to our Designer Cake Collection only. For all custom orders, changes must be made one month prior to the event date.
